Staff Advising Information + Hours

The Office of Academic Services (OAS) offers advising to any undergraduate Engineering student who needs assistance, specifically in the following areas:

Dual Degrees
Internal Transfers
Curriculum Deferred (have not yet declared a major)
Study Abroad
Connecting to University resources (e.g., CAPS, Weingarten)

Seeing an Undergraduate Staff Advisor

Undergraduate Advising Hours:

During the Fall and Spring semesters in-person walk-in advising takes place Monday – Thursday from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. During the Summer semester in-person walk-in advising takes place on Wednesdays from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

In order to be seen for Undergraduate Walk-in Advising, you must first join the line via Tempo (QLESS). Tempo (QLESS) will notify you when it is your turn either via your mobile device or via the Queue screen outside of the OAS office (Towne 109). You can join the line only on the days and times listed above for Undergraduate In-Person Walk-in Advising. Once you have been notified, make your way to the office and check-in with the Front desk.

To join the line for Undergraduate Walk-In Advising there are three options:

Join Online
- Click the hyperlink above or type this URL: https://kiosk.na4.qless.com/kiosk/app/home/86
Join via your mobile device by downloading the Tempo (QLESS) App.
- Search for University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA
- Choose OAS@PennEngineering (SEAS)
Join the line via our onsite kiosk
- The kiosk will be available just outside of our office door

Undergraduate Students will be notified according to how they joined – either via updates in the QLESS mobile app, via text message, or on the Queue screen outside of OAS.
