Shefali Gokulnatha

Hi everyone, and welcome Class of 2030! My name is Shefali, and I’m a rising sophomore (class of 2029) majoring in electrical engineering and minoring in computer science :). I’m from the Bay Area in California, and some of the activities/groups that I’m involved in here at Penn are the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Board, Penn Aerial Robotics (electrical subteam), the Benjamin Franklin Scholars interdisciplinary studies program, and intramural soccer. I lived in Hill during my freshman year (I love Hill), and I participated in the Penn Global Mosaic Pre-O prior to my freshman year (I love Global Mosaic). This summer, I will be doing research abroad in Aachen, Germany on sensors and robotics in mining through GRIP funded by Penn. Outside of school, I love to thrift, listen to music and go to concerts, volunteer, play video games, be in nature, and go on walks hoping to encounter cute cats.
