GSEG is the official governance body for Penn Engineering graduate students – Master’s and PhD students alike.
It works in partnership with GAPSA (Graduate and Professional Student Assembly) and the GSC (Graduate Student Center) to advocate for graduate-specific student needs.
GSEG funds departmental group events and projects each year.
GSEG plans events like monthly happy hours and monthly food pick-ups.
Attend a monthly GSEG General Assembly meeting – the dates and times differ, though historically, they have been hosted once a month around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Towne building.
Stay informed through the GSEG newsletter! The newsletter goes out every Monday or Tuesday from stulife@seas.upenn.edu.
For a complete list, visit GSEG’s website. Graduate club policy is overseen by GSEG, OAS, GAPSA, and GSC.
Club missions range from professional networking to cultural and wellness-based communities.
Many collaborate with other G12+ clubs or other university-wide groups to host events and other outreach activities.
