Student Governance

Graduate Student Engineering Government (GSEG)

  • GSEG is the official governance body for Penn Engineering graduate students – Master’s and PhD students alike.
  • It works in partnership with GAPSA (Graduate and Professional Student Assembly) and the GSC (Graduate Student Center) to advocate for graduate-specific student needs.
  • GSEG funds departmental group events and projects each year.
  • GSEG plans events like monthly happy hours and monthly food pick-ups.
  • Visit GSEG: gseg.seas.upenn.edu

  • Stay informed through the GSEG newsletter! The newsletter goes out every Monday or Tuesday from stulife@seas.upenn.edu.
  • Contact the team at gseg@seas.upenn.edu for questions or proposals.
